I've got quite a few of these things here. If you think you might want one let me know. I'll let them go for $320 to RS members. I'm also open to trades if you have something that might go well with my 93 80. PMs are fine as is email (jdarbin@yahoo.com). Cell: 970-302-7801.

Thanks,

Chad

Pretty much everyone that has bought one likes them. They aren't perfect but for the $$ they are awfully hard to beat. The biggest 'complaint' is about the ladder, most calling it "tragic" :)

Most that bought them paid $325 + around $80-$100 for shipping depending on where they were shipped to in CO. I finally opened mine up last weekend to check it out. The kids had a great time playing in it. The thing is big and weighs probably 125# or so. Size wise it is probably close to a queen size bed when open. My biggest concern will be how it stands up to bad weather camping, mostly rain.

I seriously considered picking up a second one as a spare but I really don't have anywhere to store another one and the one I have will probably see very limited use so it should last awhile.

That's a good deal JC, is this the same Mombassa tent that's also being sold on Expedition Portal?
those are "first generation" ones, are yours the second gen? http://expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3060

And does your $320 include shipping, or can you meet somewhere around Denver? What kind of stuff does you 80 need?

These are the same close-outs Luis is selling. $320 includes delivery. New bilsteins for my 2.5 lift are at the top of my 80 needs. I'm looking/hoping for a rear tire carrier as well. Jim says he's working on building some 1/4 guards w/a carrier possibly. I'm hoping he does.

FWIW - I'm also open to trades for a decent people killer. All my guns are single action cowboy replicas or English POS. I'm interested in anything that hasn't had all the goody shot out of it and doesn't have trigger pull like a Ruger. Thanks!

So you want some spare 4.11 ring and pinions for the front and rear of your 80?

How about a 17" flat screen CRT monitor (Tube type)? Computer parts?

Heck, I got lots of "treasure" I could trade. Little tapped out with $$ with the gears and holiday presents.

No problem. Glad you made it back allright. It was clear blue skies again from Longmont on north. Kind of weird how it can snow so hard in one place and be clear like that just 20 miles away. :)
