i've got a fresh rebuilt 3spd trans. that a friend of mine built (he's a former toyota tech working for infiniti)
all the main bearings have been replaced, and the syncros have been replaced.

paid $300. before the rebuild
will sell for $300. plus shipping
figure shipping out of colorado to be around $50.-$70. not quite sure
if it will ship UPS when crated, shipping should be less.

thanx
jim

1 word....restoration. I don't have 300 or I'd probably buy it. Rebuild kit for a 3-speed is 175 or so.

It you're restoring to stock I suppose. Otherwise I'd go with a SM420 or an H42 Toyota 4-speed. Once you've done that you'd never go back to a 3-speed.

I have one. Not certain on it's state of running but I think it was running before I got it. Definately a good builder....might be sufficient drop in...that I don't know. It is from a '66

LANDPIMP... OH Man he's in our neck of the woods too  :D

Me thinks he should trade a 65 to colorado for removal of said 3 speed. :D
