Howdy-

I was trying to search, but I couldn't get the button to work, am I grounded or something?

Anyhow, where do you guys get your steel? Looking for simple 1x1" and 2x3" tubing... starting my trailer build soon!

I have been to the place kinda off Santa Fe that had a lot of decorative fence stuff, the name slips me now. Any other places to look into? Any good scrap yards?

Thanks!

Drew

Search works from the "topmost level" of the forum. It won't work from within for sale, or tech, etc.. have to get to the high level forum then it'll work.

Oh and I get mine from your garage, sometimes Ian's house.. :lmao:

I called a place called Hinson steel I believe. I have the info at work but not here at home. If you can wait till next year, I love saying that, I will forward you the info. They have pretty good prices too, I was going to get some HREW for a bumper etc.

I really like Dencol. You can call them up and tell them exactly what you need, and they'll have it cut and waiting to load up. http://www.dencol.com/

I have various pieces of .25 and schd 40 laying around, including some 3/16" that has been formed into channels.

This would be available for a donation. (either beer, decent wine, or windows 2k operating system)

you may come by and see what I have, call first. I know I have one full stick of 1.5 schd 40 (roughly 1.75 od - great for bumpers) and half a stick of 3"sq .125 wall, also good for bumper body. Various pieces of .25, 5/16's plate, and some 3/8th good for brackets. 640 colorado blvd, enter through the alley. available today, as I will be pulling a studio day and cleaning up the shop.

From Mikes response to my similar q:

8th and I-25, follow the East frontage road until you are under Colfax. Right where it turns East at the traintracks.
