Never heard of them, but nice to know there are choices. I have used Englewood Drive shaft on south Broadway (entrance in alley) with good results for the original U Joint and balance work and for the re-tube after chinamans.

What kind of prices do they charge? I may want to have my front redone instead of doing it myself.

He just registered.

Unlike Romer I have not retubed my DS after the last run. So I'm interested.

Getting the Toyota U joints for a cruiser, having them replace them both and balance the shaft was $197 (including the Toyota U Joints)

Retubing and balancing I think was $95 (I may be off by a dollar or 2).

Even they say there is no U joint as well built as the Toyota ones. They don't carry them and typically install others. You can bring them in or have them order them from Burt with the Rising Sun Discount.

It was $108.20 after tax for a retube/rebalance at Englewood d/s on my rear d/s this summer after Chinaman's :o
