View Full Version : Exhaust Needed

I'm building my 66 LV, and it now has the 2F installed...but I'm having difficulty finding an exhaust/intake manifold that isn't all one piece. Any ideas?? The older F intake was seperate from the exhaust...the exhaust had little round rings that acted as the gasket. Can't really use that one on the new engine. Any wallet-friendly ideas????

No ideas but sitting in my garage I've got the OEM exhaust (from AFTER the cat back) from a 2002 Liberty if you need some exhaust tubing and a muffler :)
I know, I told everyone I was going to toss it out but I haven't yet :( - I'll blame it on all of the snow!
Anyway, had probably 20K miles on it when I replace it with an after market exhaust on a whim...
Anyway, I know it won't help with your exhaust/intake manifold issue but maybe you can put this other stuff to use...VERY wallet friendly price of FREE

What's wrong if they are stuck together? You could try Yota Yard. Some of the FJ60's they have there might be older 2F engines. You could also buy a header from Downey or someone if you get an intake manifold. :)

Save me the LV parts and I'll trade you for a 2F style intake and exhaust.

Sharkbait- they're more like rusted together...on my 72 F motor, I had a one piece intake, and a 6 -> 1 aftermarket header. Can't seem to find a decent header without breaking the bank. I'll see what Root has for 2F stuff...who knows! :thumb:

Yota Yard or maybe Ron at Rocky Mountain Cruisers.

I've got a MAF 6-2-1 ceramic coated header & antifreeze carb heater setup from my '83 FJ60. Also a good intake manifold.
