View Full Version : Wanted: '98ish 4Runner CD stereo

I'd like to find an OEM Toyota CD stereo to fit a '98 4Runner that currently only has the AM/FM/Cassette.

Either the add-on CD player or an entire AM/FM/CD/Cass. unit would be fine.

It seems that many Toyota stereos can interchange, but the closer to '98, the better - 3rd gen stuff would be ideal.

Thanks,

Steve

I have one sitting in the basement out of our 2000 4Runner. Not sure what they go for so make me an offer it does have the external amplifier, gotta have that. Keep in mind that we live in Roxborough and most peolpe I buy or sell stuff to live way north:eek:

Anyway, we could meet up somewhere or you can come over and get it.

If it is the same as the first poster then he gets first shot at you, don't want to steal a deal.

Late edition, I looked at the unit and at the ebay add posted in the earlier post. It is the same and the amp that is shown in the add is the same too. Looks like we have a double whammy.

Sheesh - just after I gave up and snagged one on eBay - but I may still track you guys down - may need a backup unit.

Thanks all!

No worries, it is sitting here nice and safe in the basement. I may throw it on eBay after seeing what they go for. One just went for $90 with out the amp, that could buy me two new rims ;-0
