$500 is too much money for a seized motor, IMO.

Absolutely! I only paid about $300 for a running 1FZ a year ago!

Good to know! I wasn't really sure what it was worth? I'm definately open to offers. I'm putting a 4bt in the 80 so this motor needs to go soon.

Anybody need a 18ft. Frito Lay stepvan with no motor? I'll sell it for what it's worth in scrap aluminum.

I won the auction in Co springs and paid way tooo much, but the 80 is ready for it and I couldn't wait around for another auction and maybe have to drive it back 500 miles. So hopefully we will have it done by the end of the month and running wvo by summer. I will post up some build pics.

I bet you could get $150-200 pretty quick. I don't need a 3F-E -- I'm just saying.

Hmmm. 3F-E in an FJ40...?

Matt,

Talk to Mike Goodknight...When he was down picking up the Kayline tire carrier from me he had already picked up 2 3FEs in town. I asked him what they were for and he mentioned that they make great FJ40 engines...He made it sound like it was a real easy swap, depending on tranny I guess. I've read the 3FE is a slug in an 80 but in a 40? :D

Dropping Price!

$300 for 3F motor...... $500 for Tranny and AWD T-case.

Any Interest?
