all,

we will not be installing the motor this weekend

However, we will be finishing up other areas, and we will need those committed to helping uncle ben do the motor on the weekend to work on the regular stuff this weekend.

It will most likely be things that do not require a lot of technical skill, so don't hold back!

brake system flush - new lines
engine bay detail - paint touch up and stuff
mirror install
interior detailing
etc etc etc

thanks in advance for your assistance!

Where is the truck?

I was hoping to be able to help when it was just around the corner in Louisville.

Thanks-

Drew

Ige's I believe...

Can we verify the truck's location, please? I will deliver the two Tuffy boxes, brake lines and assorted little bits from Stevinson to wherever it is, first thing tomorrow.

Could someone PM me the address? I know I've seen the address mentioned somewhere. If I can manage to swing by I would like to. Saturday is definitely out for me but maybe Sunday?

As Tom mentioned in a PM to John, he has the platform covered and you guys don't need to do a thing - no need to duplicate Tom's effort.

had chris, john, tim and romer over today to work. with some finagling, got the tuffy center console and rear storage drawer mounted. then, ran into some snags on the brakes, but ended up getting extended lines installed and got the entire system cleaned out. also painted up the master/booster and installed new shifter bushings. overall, got quite a bit done. tomorrow, i understand we will have the sliders to install :thumb: see you then. posted up some pics from today in the gallery

Team - awesome work, and awesome patience yesterday.

As for today - let's get some piddly stuff done. It will be late afternoon before we get the sliders.

Let's paint the axles/suspension components to get them cleaned up. I know that we talked about doing it after the arb's, but since we have decided to wait on those, let's get it done before the motor gets dropped. I will foot the bill for the tape and paint, just let me know what it cost.

The carpet needs vacuumed again to get the sand and the backing out of it some more.

We should also go over the glass and headliner to get the last of the schmootz off of them.

The weekend coming up is huge, and my kids soccer goes to regular games. I have a policy that I don't miss any, so we will be a person down for at least one day.

If we get our parts - we will need more than a couple of bodies at slee's on saturday.

thanks team - we're almost there.

guess I should confirm again with christo.. monitor the next weekends thread, because if we don't have the thirds, there will not be much going on that day besides a bumper and the deck...

on the thirds, i took today to get some pumpkin housings cleaned up, but all week i was trying to get ahold of joe to see what was going on with the gears and i can't ever get ahold of him. i will try one more time monday, then i will contact another source on a different brand of gears.

john, what ever happened with arb? do we have lockers? we need those to do the thirds also.
