Come by anytime - car's out front - most of the front's already dissasembled and parts in ther garage, but I can leave the front lenses out and you can take off the rears - someone's usually here after 3:30 if you want to see what's already been taken off and stored in the garage. I'll pm our address/phone number....

Hi Art - sorry, the axles have been sold.
Make me a reasonable offer for the seat belt - or I can bring it to the next meeting and you can try before you buy....

upper and lower shift boots for both tranny and tcase?

04-11-2007, 08:02 AM
Ige - the shift boots might be part of a package deal that someone on Mud is interested in - I should know whether they're still available by the end of the week.
I'm assuming they're for the rafflle truck?
If so, and they're not sold by Friday, they're yours.

i've got an '85 in pretty good shape, but i had some rust repaired a few years back near the drip rail that has started to come back. i'm thinking i may need to get the whole thing replaced, cuz i'm not sure if any rust got inside. wondering if the roof of the fj60 has any rust on it?

any idea on the best place in Denver Metro / Boulder to get body work done on an FJ? i've talked to rocky mountain cruisers, but was wondering if there were any other good shops.

thx -bp

I think it's pretty clean - I'll check after work and let you know.
In terms of body work, I'm too cheap to have someone else do it, and as is painfully evident, not good enough to do it myself.....
Hopefully someone else will have some recommendations....

I recommend calling this shop in Lafayette, talk to him about what you're looking for. it really is an auto body shop - exotic bodies by Jim. He's got a reeally nice, big shop, which is clean and well organized. Typically has about 2-4 full restos going on as well as all the insurance-fender-bender jobs. He's a super nice guy, and said he worked for Toyota for a bunch of years.
