I was at Pul n sav at about 5:00 tonight. There was an FJ40 on the drain rack. I bet it hits the lot tomorrow. Heads up if you want parts for cheap.
I know it was missing a wheel, and that it had a hardtop. Other than that, I don't have any details.

No 'cruisers out there at all today.

I wonder how long they hold them before placing them on the lot? Or did it get sold already?

It's there in the corner. It's a 69 with a 350 and it's mostly junk to us. I was allowed to go in there with a hard hat and no tools. the top is from a mustard 77+. I didn't look at the tranny or t case but otherwise I couldn't find a good part on it. :(

He said it'll be in the yard first thing 10/26 and I wasn't allowed to pull anything til it's in the yard.

OH.. and it's REALLY SCARY someone actually drove that thing....

I bought a mini-truck at the Yota yard for $135. The normal price was $150, but Wes reminded me they gave us 10% coupons at Cruise Moab, so I tiold them I was with the club, appreciated their support and said I couldn't find my coupon. The honored it.

The one I got had the nipple for the return and the high pressure line still attached. Thats worth another $40-$80.

There is a guy named Adam at about 70th and 25N who has one (IFS box, not an <=85 push pull box) for $75
PM me for his number.

Total newbie here and I no longer have my cruiser (was a 76, sold it 4 years ago and I sure miss it) but I used to get parts from Blakes in Erie. They had several fj-40s there 5 years ago and it doesn't seem like the place that crushes them too often like some yards!

PS if anyone knows of a fj-45 SWB with a removeable top in any condition for the right price let me know!

Stopped at Blakes today, matter of fact. They have 1 92 FJ-80 that still has a few parts on it (front end damage including very bent front axle housing!) 3 or 4 60's (quite a few usable parts still), 1 FJ-62 (interior mostly gone but several good clean body panels and drive train) couple really stripped 55's and 4 or 5 40's fairly stripped but still a few good parts left. They have a ton of 1st and second gen P'U's still. Thats all I noticed. Their inventory is online now but the e-addy is in my truck still. They are like the other greedy vultures now and prices are high!

Oh....very soon (tomorrow) they will have a '73 F builder too!

That's too bad to hear they're becoming uppity and expensive!
I got a smog pump for like 10 bucks from them 5 years ago... best price I could find by about 100 bucks!

I agree! Two of the 40's they have out there came from me! I used to do quite a bit of biz with them. Once Crazy Dave left, Dan made the decision to price everything out of the book rather than market value. Hasn't been the same since!
