View Full Version : Good Mechanic

I'm relatively new to the Denver area, moved from KC in July, and need to find a good shop to do a gear and bearing install on my rear third member. I would do it but all my gear setup tools are still in a box in a storage unit in Kansas. I was thinking of using High Country Performance, but wasn't sure. I would prefer to find someone in the Littleton, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker or possibly Englewood area.
Thanks for your help.

High Country is OK, but they tend to set up Toy gears like they were Danas (too much backlash, not enough carrier bearing preload). Not drastic, just not perfect (though my experience is a bit dated admittedly).
Solid Rock Off-Road? Does he set up gears?
Off Road Solutions is very good. Arvada though.
