Best Buy has 22" LCD Widescreen Monitors on sale for $219 after rebate. Does anyone have any negative experiences with them?
Thanks Dan

None. I get all my stuff from Tiger Direct now.. they've got a good section on what to look for in an LCD... viewing angle, refresh, etc. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=2775

I like Micro Center much better than Best Buy. I bought a 19" LCD Monitor for $149 after rebate 6 months ago.

Not a bad deal. No delivery charges. For $280 + shipping you could get two 19" widscreens at www.tigerdirect.com (I buy there a lot). I have two regular 19's and I'll never go back to one (unless its HUGE).

These things are getting soo cheap!

Highly recommended! I bought mine when the 30" ones first came out. Caused the 24" to drop from about $2,000 to just under $800 overnight. :thumb:

They're now down to $670.

With the high-resolution wide-screen, you have room to put 2 workspaces side-by-side, or display ALOT of information from one application.

It kinda sucks for games, though... too many pixels to push (at full resolution & color depth) for my 1 year-old top of the line video board. :(

I find Best Buy's return policies for defective merchandise to be too restrictive-sometimes their prices are quite good-but if you don't step up to the Extended Service Plan they treat you like a leper if something fails.

I agree though - monitors are dirt cheap now compared to just 2-3 years ago.

Did you make the switch to a Mac? Or did you just buy the monitor?

I just bought the monitor. My 6.6gig PC should be fast enough.

I have a 19" acer. Been fine for what I do.

I don't think you can go wrong with the 22" for $199 from tiger
