Wes, do you ever use the SourceForge forums?
http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/

They use VBulletin, and they have a cool "Thanks" feature. It's visible only if you're logged in. I did a screen grab so you could see how cool it is.

It's a popular add-on. Available from the VBulletin forums:

One of you guys want to give it a shot?

I've seen it.. I think it's ok in some forums that are primarly how to. I don't think we have a ton of post boosting Ie. ask a question and then it's just a post of "thanks". Nor do I like the global "Thanked" so many times. While it is supposed to help reduce irrelevant post counts it just adds another I'm proud of my 1500 thanks. For the most part were not a question and answer forum like howtoforge.com

I'll try and find the time to install it if the majority wants it. My vote would be a nay for it.

Have you asked him? :lmao:

On a serious note -- I don't see much value to it here. Mud tech forums, maybe, but here, "Nay".
