Ige,

Where did you go to get it? What are the specs? I'm really having a hard time envisioning you in an 80. You seem more like a 40 gal. Even the Weeny Wagon didn't quite seem to fit you when i saw you driving it. Any plans for this rig?

You've probably been around long enough. You know my cure for a vibration at speed right? Drive faster until it goes away. The LCML archives are down or I'd point you to the thread.

Last week in San Fransisco we were doing 92 in the carpool lane in our 80. That was the speed the traffic was moving. There is nothing like passing a Ferrari in the slow lane in a big Cruiser.

I'm pretty sure your speedometer is wrong, because it seems you were going fast enough to time warp to a little over 6 months ago! :lmao: What is it, 88 miles per hour? :lmao:

So how did you like the long drive in an 80 vs a 40, 60 or clampy?

Ige in an 80. End of an era. :rip: Kinda sad. :bawl:

BUT PATHETIC THAT SHE'S WHINING ABOUT CRUISE CONTROL ALREADY!!! and sort of surprising you even know what it is....

We'll, me and my 80 are off to Pagosa Springs today (Sunday morning, 7 hours from now). I'm going to drive Hayden Pass and Ellwood Pass along the way! :)

My speedo is dead on at 60 mph. 4.56s and 315s pretty much equals stock. Through the entire range I'm only 1-2mph off my GPS.

Now Ige's on the other hand could be way off depending what equipment she has. Oh and Ige, I have a bunch of 80 series CC stuff off a 94. If you can figure out what the problem is I might be able to help you with the parts. I could bring them in August if you could wait that long.

the rig came from chicago, it was todd ballards (gumby). 95, 50mm ome lift, 285/75r16s gy mts on powdercoated stock rims, arb bumper, homemade sliders and rear bumper, rear frames been shortened, center diff mod, oem lockers, and a snorkle that's been thoroughly tested, hence no cruise or alarm system.

Cool. Imelda's terminal velocity is barely 80 and that would be if you pushed her out of the back of a Galaxy without a chute.

Ige the alarms suck so that is no great loss. I have all the Cruise relays etc... but I'm guessing it is your speed sensor. I can bring the relays and actuator and stuff to the Rallye in August if you don't have it fixed by then. You can have it. Oh and I also have a spare stalk for the Cruise.
