I'll post this in chat...

Went to the yard today. Ige had mentioned there was a 40 with a corrugated top and I knew Wes had seen it as well. Picked up the bifold doors and some other random parts for $16.00! Here are the two 40s they have. I know Ian was looking for frame parts....the light green one has a good frame up front.

Radcliff ave . just off santa fe.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually just fabbed up new parts for the frame, I am still looking for a 60 PS gear box though.

Colorado auto parts UPDATE:

The only 40 still there is the last one in treeroots pics. A 64 with virtually nothing left that's worth anything but the passenger floor pan I still need to get.

ALL THE 60'S are gone :(

There is a rusty fj62 (3FE) good parts at least are the air cleaner if somone is looking for a round canister air cleaner. Fine spline 4.11's, rear sway bar is there and fairly intact but needs some welding on a few spots, otherwise good. 4 Kioto square lamps

Other 3fe parts...

Interior was pretty trashed and most of the dash was gone.

Man, those pix are just so sad....reminds of the SOR poster/postcard.

Speaking of 60s, my father-in-law's 84 is still for sale. Details were in the old forum, but it has some front end damage but runs great, good drivetrain, minimal leaks, AC blows cold, etc. Rust in usual places: rear fender lips and rear sill, no frame rot at all. He was asking $2k but I'm pretty sure he'd let it go for less than that. Front fender, headlight bucket, front bumper and a few other parts and it'd make either a great dailer driver or trail rig project. I'd hate to see it get parted out, but it has a LOT of good parts on it that work fine.
