IH8CHROME!!!! I'm looking for 3 people who own LX450's w/ factory chrome rims & want a chrome spare. I'll trade 3 of my chromes out for spares that are not chromed! I need 3 people to do this. With my own spare that'll give me 4 non-chromed factory wheels. Anyone interested?

All 5 tires are chrome so you can do a 5 tire rotation. I think the 80's are the same way??

The spare is same wheel but not chromed! HAve seen posts on IH8MUD for same thing...people looking for 5th wheel to rotate tires.

I have 2 LX450's and there is no difference between the spare rim and the others. Maybe I got lucky . . . . . .twice!

Chrome wheels were an option from the factory on a LX450? I guess I thought chromed wheels were aftermarket or mods done to OEM wheels. I wouldn't call my LX wheels chrome, and all 5 are the same like Romer's.

Got a picture of an OEM chrome LX wheel?

all 5 of my tires look like this. They aren't shiney like most Chrome wheels. But the spare is the same as the rest. Maybe your previous owner bought 4 Chrome Rims and changed out the stock ones, leaving the spare stock. Is that what happened?

Ken, you have the non-chrome wheels. The chrome wheels are very, very, very shiny.

you have 3 not 4...? Is that the reason for the trade?

I think he's planning to use his own, non-chromed spare for the 4th, and then move one of the chrome wheels under the truck to be the spare.

gotcha...I'd like to see the chromed... I'm assuming it's not really chromed but shined alum?

My spare isn't chrome so I only need 3. Also, the front right is pitted badly, so I dought anyone would want it.

Also, I saw your vehicle last Saturday Ken and the wheels aren't the chrome ones. My wheels are identical only chromed!

Here's a shot of my chromed wheels.

Dealers chromed them. Seems like those that did cheaped out and only chromed 4. I tried for quite a while to find a 5th chrome wheel. I also explored just buying 4 non-chrome wheels. It ended up being cheaper to just chrome the spare wheel.

If you end up with extra chrome wheels, let me know... :)
