There is only 1 place to get Genuine Toyota parts!

Reman toyota usually runs about the same as the other places too.

NAPA was $20-30 more than the dealer a few years ago for an FJ60 starter, and after 5 defective starters (3 replaced by PO, 2 by me) in 2.5 years, they gave me my money back. I bought a reman Toyota starter. All the NAPA starters sounded like they were full of sand while cranking, and the Toyota starter had that nice, tight, new sound. Very gratifying.
Consider installing new contacts, if the rest of your starter is tight and otherwise works well.

My dealer told me when they run out of cores, they just stick new parts in the 'reman' boxes from Toyota. I've seen it, too.
