Here are some new pics of the trailer. I still need to move the jerry cans, get aluminum corners for the lid and gets some gas struts to assist in lifting the lid.

DANG you work fast

Looks great and pretty much what I'd like to do, someday. Are you going to leave the fenders and suspension alone or try to set it up with bigger tires etc. for off road use?

Well Until i get the 40 running i wont be able to pull the trailer with anything besides my titan or my dads 4runner, so for now im just going to leave it alone. I wont be hittin any hard trails in the near future :(

Anybody know a good way to get paint off the tail lights? I tried paint thinner and gas but neither of them work.

Went camping this weekend. Man was it cold! I got the gas shocks at Napa, they gave me the strongest ones they had, he said they were rated at 150lb's.They help alot with lifting/closing but it wont hold it up but the axe works. The trailer pulls really well, i got a few comments and people wanting to buy it.
I couldn't get the paint off the lights, i tried brake cleaner and steel wool but nothing, its on there good. Anyway here are some pics.

Couple pics of it all finished and ready to go

When we went camping the other weekend, i froze my ass off!! We brought a down comforter which was a mistake, im sure it wouldnt have been as bad with some sleeping bags but im a skinny kid so im sure i would have been cold either way. It was pretty windy, one of the bolts holding canapy came off, other than that it was fine. Having it on the trailer was nice, its a little shaky but nothing crazy.

Cant wait to get some bigger tires but i havent been able to find some used tires in that wheel size.

Thanks for the comments guys!!!

I welded some steps/storage today. The welds are ugly but i can stand on it and jump around so it should be strong enough. I still have to grind down the corner that sticks out, i also want to put some kind of wire mesh over it. What do you think? (paint is still fresh)

I would lay some sheet metal on the bottoms of those steps. NOT THE TOPS. you could do both, however my reasoning is that you will get hung up on those openings. Also, believe it or not even something as light as 16ga will add strength
