would this work well in painting and can it be stacked with another drier? ahhh...the learning curve of painting. this summer, i want to paint the 80 some god awful color and i'll need a better drier setup than what i've got now.

you need no other filter... It uses recycled materials for the filter element. It removes moisture VERY WELL.
The only reason I stopped using it, is that I wanted something that I could put right against my plasma. I went with an even more expensive, smaller, inline filter.
You can get the filter elements at any welding store/industrial shop.
