So as you know I am sending my girl to OZ in Jan as a gift. Can she bring back parts in a suitcase? Anyone want to jump in on some smaller parts? Any advice?

I'd be interested in a Treg multi-point axis hitch setup, depending on the going price.

she will be required to declare anything she purchases while there. I do not recall the tariffs on goods from down under. We went through customs pretty fast so I don't think it was a big deal. The airline will probably be the first to complain to to the extra weight. I'd just have her ship stuff back via boat mail.

Does anyone have a good source down there right now? Mine won't be back till Feb. I would love to have stuff for her to pick up and send out

Just kicking a old thread. When she goes down I am looking into this Place. They have the visors we need and I forget all what we needed.

If she could find one of these in tan, for significantly less than $150AU I might be interested :)

Overhead console extension dealymajig (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220179219717&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D220179219717%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1)

Jeff, does this interfere with the sunroof?

Hmmm...I don't think so  - Same size/shape as the overhead console is that we will be installing the not to distant future. There was a thread on MUD about this item - found it :) HERE (http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=191435)

CDan says it will fit although he has concerns about heat...I was thinking it would make a great spot to put the Ham radio head unit dealyo, which I don't have

I have sent two emails to them as it appears they have a 40th anniversary with what appears to be a tan interior....no answer yet.....

FYI: Ham radios put out a lot more heat than CBs. If you don't give your radio adequate ventilation, its life will be shorter.

Stick with CB and don't worry about it! ;):zilla:

UB, have you heard anything back yet? If not I am going to buy a calling card and give them a yell on Friday. I have heard nothing on my end.

Understood but what about just the little control deal thing ma jig? IIRC your actual unit is located in the back and you have the control dealyo up front correct? I was figuring you could just put that controller thing up in this console extende whatchmacallit :hill:
