Who would you recommend to check out a FJ40 with a v8 swap? That is to say, I'm looking at a FJ40 that has had the swap done and I'd like to have it inspected to get an idea if it is a well done or a "hack job". I was talking with Sharkb Bait and Nacman on the ham radio tonight and they offered up some thoughts - what about the rest of you?

Hey Ricardo. Comprehensive on Evans, east of Broadway, might be a good choice if Ron at Rocky Mountain says he's too busy and Greg at The Toy Shop says no. :D

there are many things to look at but engine placement is probably the most important. Cooling is probably the biggest issue with the swap. Along with drive train angles, front axle clearance.
Do you know what trans is behind it? What adapter has been used? What engine mounts? etc...
