Some of you know Vince and Bettie, not only loyal Cruise Moab attendees but also EarthRoamer owners. Check out the photo below, Bettie is flying the CM flag at this year's EarthRoamer Owners Rally.

It's picture #13 at this link.

Vince and Betty are Good Friends of mine. He has got one of the nicest cruisers I've ever seen, with some of the most tasteful modifications.

He said that it was either buy a cabin on a lake, or the Earth Romer. The Earth Romer can be a cabin on any lake :)

Nice pix but the this one showing the spotter helping the driver negotiate some tough terrain had me chuckling. I was hoping to see some winching in Poukipsee Gulch :)

Easy now. :D Believe it or not that was vehicle awareness and spotting training. Gotta make sure everybody is communicating before you take them out into the woods!

I bet that hill is pretty freaky if you're used to driving cadillacs and big motor homes..

But since you already put in the backup camera, anyone ever thought of doing multiple cameras throughout? To help the driver with parking, or other tricky navigation... a la Proffitt's Newt http://www.proffittscruisers.com/012307_photos/rock%20crawlers/bobnewt_gallery/pages/harry%20012.html

Yeah, we've thought about it. I've looked at a couple of those 4 camera systems, mounting one facing straight down at the very front of your engine skid plate is a good place to start, lets you see what's coming when you crest a hill.
