Did they try to sell it earlier on Craigslist? I have seen those pics before. The rig looks great, clean and straight. As for a price, $4-5000 is what I would pay for it.

yeah, he had it on craigslist before, he kept getting lowballed so I thought I would put it out there for all to see. Thanks!

I might suggest if he hasn't done so, to "detail out" the interior. I did that to my 1986 4Runner that had 230K on it and I swore it helped me get the $3500 for a bone stock vehicle. I went low-buck and used dawn dish soap, a scrub brush, and a wet/dry shop vac to clean the carpets and cloth seats.

I think $4-5K is not out of the question if it is detailed out.

x2 - Even if he has a "professional" do it it should pay back dividends :thumb:

Full details (in and out) run what, about $200? So interior only might only be in the $100 range. Amazing how clean those folks can get a vehicle to be :D

I think you guys are high on the price. 190k for a stock truck minus some wheels and tires and funky color paint job. I'd be thinking in the $2500-3300 range.

What is he asking Drew?

I saw that one on CL a few times. He was asking around 7K, right? Very nice truck, but nice 60's don't seem to fetch more than 5K unless they are really low mileage and minty, or built. Why was it repainted? Any rust repairs?

I don't know too much about it, but I have seen it up close and it is really clean. He was asking 7500 iirc.

Rust is a non issue, repaired when painted I think. Just trying to help him out. He has an offer of 5500 on the table.

My guess for a fair price would be $4500.

While there is a cult following for all the cruisers the drop in $ of 80's have hit the 60's REAL hard. There is a plethera of 60's on the market which doesn't help whether it has miles or not or rust free or not. I don't think there is any stockish 60 worth more than 5k IMHO.
