I'm in! Already have my campsite at Slickrock (112) and signed up for Gold Bar Rim, Poison Spider Mesa, and Wipe Out Hill. Planning on Volunteering more this year too.

So if I sign up to lead/gun do I still sign up for trail runs that day? My trail run choices are different than my lead/gun choices.

You have to wonder about a guy who plans his wedding to conflict with Cruise Moab.

Priorities, priorities...

Yea, I "planned" the wedding? Missed that memo;.

Anyway, a quick rundown. Is this held by Rising Sun or who is it held by. In the Raffle setup, where do funds go to and do they play a role in rising sun in anyway? I might trow something into the pile to take my place. Just not sure how this entire structure works out.

Rising Sun is the organizer of the event. This is our 11th annual Cruise Moab.

All profits are donated to land use causes. 10% of profits goes to TLCA. The raffle definitely is one of the ways we raise money from the event (and again, the profits get donated to land use organizations).

If you'd like to donate something for the raffle, that would be great. Whatever you donate should be new, not used, and it would be preferable to have something vehicle-related. For example, we'd prefer a new hi-lift jack over a bunch of Star Trek DVDs (even thought I would probably like to win the DVDs personally).

I generally sign up including the trails I lead with the note. Can't go wrong that way.

Now wouldn't this be the perfect spot for a wedding?

Last year I think we filled up around Feb 11th (If I recall correctly)We were filled up last year before the end of January. The definition of filled up depends on leadership's definition as far as keeping some spots open for trail leaders who we knew were going to be there and were counting on but hadn't gotten around to formally registering yet, versus regular registrants. The hard ceiling is the BLM permit, which includes leaders and gunners. It is prudent for CM leadership to announce it is filled when we are within a handful of that hard ceiling.

I'm guessing we're at least 1/3 full already.
