Man, if only I had 16in wheels to compliment these I'd be all over them! Good luck with the sale!

Yeah, I think you'd just need to worry about the backspacing...which you should be able to find out from any of the toyota boards or a dealer.

Sorry, Ben, I'm in Missouri for the weekend. If anyone wants these, go for it. If they are still around later, I may yet buy them. I can't guarantee that I am a buyer yet (need to check on cash flow and talk to my wife), so I should not hold up any potential sales. In other words, I am releasing any claims I had to "first dibs."

Sorry to hijack, but I have what you guys need: I just bought a set of 4, 16x8 factory alloys with center caps off a '94 that are in structually fine shape, but cosmetically challenged. I painted one charcoal grey already. They could be sprayed silver to restore the stock appearance or black. I will sell them for what I have into them, $250. You can call me at 3-619-1918, or come see them today, I'm off today, Thursday.

bskey and Rockrunner, if those were stock FZJ80 16x8 wheels you were looking at, they won't fit on an '85 4Runner...I just tried last week. The wheels hit the tie rod ends up front before they seat onto the studs. In back, they'd probably put the tires too close to the frame rails. You could run them with spacers though. In fact the ones I tried might be the ones Bikeman has. Did you get them in Thornton?

:lmao: I was really wishing they'd fit....they look pretty cool on it. But I'm too cheap and skaired to get spacers.

Many hard-core wheelers use wheel spacers without any issues whatsoever.

More use spacers on minis than Cruisers, where they have put them on the rear to match the front width when doing an SAS on 1986 and up trucks.
