man, even with have a friend who is in charge of the emissions for the state, I couldn't get my truck tested with the new tires. Even though they actually measure 34", the manager was being quite the helmet head.

Anyone have a spare set of wheels? hell 235's would be fine.

It would be worth beer or other favorite beverages

I have a full set of 33's mounted and inflated just sitting in the back yard. You would need 1/4" spacers on the front though.

To clear the calipers? or for turning radius.

To clear the calipers. I bought the rims before I found out you could get them with the correct backspacing.

I almost had my 80 emission W/T set up complete last night....unfortunately "someone" got hung up at work and wasn't able to get the tires to me. (no names mentioned...) ;) How soon you need them? I have an extra set of 80 wheels and there is a set of 265's out there that need to be on these wheels so maybe it will all come together and you can use 'em. :p

Uncle Ben is probably going to be quicker, I don't fly home from work until tommorow.

I can bring the tires on Sunday, if this will work. Or if urgently needed, I can deliver them on Saturday.

You have to have a 16 inch rim to clear the rear calipers on a 80 or you will need about 2.5 back space on the 15 inch rim. other wise the caliper will not allow the rim to seat on the hub and it will bind and not allow the wheel to move. Good luck robbie

where are we on these? Are the 33's available to use? in a 16"

I have the originals from my 95 FZJ80 if you wanted to get discount tire to swap them onto your wheels for the test. I was looking for a six-pack in trade, but if you can use them, you can have them. See here.

Matt, if those tires need to be mounted, bring them by one day after work. I can mount them up for you.

Uncle Ben now has my four old stock 80 tires. I think he has an extra set of 80 wheels to which he was going to mount these.
HTH.

BTT -

IF someone has some mounted up tires/wheels that will fit an 80, I would definitely like to borrow them at the meeting tomorrow. I can bring my truck or cruiser.

I need to get my emissions done sometime this century on this truck. really.

305 and under will work

I will trade  or :weld:

Post up or call me to make arrangements...

TIA

Hey Uncle B, they can ride down in the CM trailer if you want/need to. Let me know if so I could probably swing by around 6:30. In fact with your tires, Hulk's spare, and Rezarf, we have a pretty good load. Don't worry Drew, there will be  and you can listen to the stereo... :D Oh yeah we need the stereo too!
