Subaru diesel's are here, well not really, they are there, meaning the U.K.

H6 diesel might find its way into a Tribeca.

48.7 MPG combined for a diesel Legacy wagon. Might be imperial gallons? I don't know how they sell their fuel over there. I would have thought liters? Anyway I can't wait until these hit our shores if they ever do. I have a feeling my fleet of cruisers will be considered recreational vehicles in the future not DD's due to increased fuel prices.

The boxer diesel is certainly interesting. I think it would be and h4 forester first though.

I haven't read much about the h6

Mmmmm.... low center of gravity, subaru reliability, the h4 is easy to build up too. I had long considered the work it would take to put a h4 2.5 turbo in my truck when my 22RE dies, but the tranny options there are it's downfall, unless I get an STI 6spd.

But a diesel opens even more options!

150 HP and 250 torque would be just right for a mini truck! But yes the trans options are pretty limited.
