The thing had the whole food oil to usable fuel on a huge slide out in the back, they stop at a place then get oil donations and drive to the next place, it was pretty slick.

I kept think "Back to the Future" delorian stuff. :D

Cool rig... i love the color matched arb up front.

I was wearing a Land Cruiser shirt today and showed it to him and he got me on video! Maybe I will be a star in shining lights someday :o:thumb:

Right hand drive

Is it a 105 with a solid front axle?

I thought to myself, "What is the purpose of all the stuff in the back?"

And Google to the rescue!
Good article from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/351634_biodiesel17.html)

Plus, they have a website in English (http://biodieseladventure.com/english/index.php).

I totally was gonna ask if it had to do 88 MPH. Funny.

With 5 lug wheels it probably IFS. If I remember correctly from my trip to AU the 105's had 6 lug wheels.

But that wouldn't stop me from driving it.

Did our bit for the environment today. Sorry no space for a tent.
It is IFS and Intercooled Turbo.

Christo,
Good job!! It was big fun this afternoon to see the Slee Off Road shop in full action to get the fuel storage addition done in short order to keep the globe trotting trio on schedule. Meeting these intrepid world travelers and seeing the refinery in the back of their 100 was a joy to behold and fuels my own need to get out on the road. Imagine, having your own fuel refinery onboard just like air or a tent. Whew!

Now if only there was some way to recover the, uh, 'natural' gas present after a Taco Bell and several beers night. It could a perpetual motion machine. I can see it now, The Run For The Border Expedition. I don't even want to think about the energy content should you switch to White Castles when you hit the Midwest. They are already fermenting when you get them and any left over sitting on the floor board in the morning could honestly be burned as is. You guys from St. Louis, Chicago, Indy, yeah don't look away. You know what I'm talking about. Everyone once (and only once) in their hung over youth tried re-warming a sack of White Castles under the floor heater in their car. Oh man, what a tough day in school that ended up being.
