Does anyone have a recommended shop for resurfacing my 3-speed flywheel? From what I've been able to find on the MUD board, the F flywheel has a step of .630" or 16.002mm.
Thanks.

I had mine done at Havana Machine in Aurora. The step in the mini truck flywheel didn't phase them, they do a lot of Toyota flywheels.

Do you know if they balance the flywheels while they are at it?

Couldn't tell you. They are regular full service machine shop, so if it's something that isn't super special they might do it.

Normally a machine shop doesn't balance, as the material taken off simply make the flywheel flat again. If the machine shop you choose does engine balancing they could of course re-balance the flywheel if you want to pay for it. At Mountain High you could even go one step further and have it Cryoed, which I would assume would make it like brake rotors and deter the forming of hard spots for the future.
