I just sold my beloved 95 4Runner so I could get an 80. I've gone all through craigslist, autotrader, and cars.com for something suitable in my price range $5500 tops. I'm not too concerned w/ miles, so long as it's been maintained and I'll be doing a conversion to diesel (4bt) when I get done w/ grad school, but I have to live in the interior so I'd like that to be in good shape.
I owned my 4Runner for 5yrs and loved it, but it's time to move on. I'm in FtC but anything w/in the Denver area would be good as well. Thanks for the help/ guidance.

There is one for sale in my neighborhood, Roxborough. He is asking $6000 but it hasn't sold for a while. Appears to be in good shape with lift/bumpers/sliders and maybe lockers not sure. I can get some info if you want, I think he had in in CL for $6300, it is gray in color.

thanks for the leads S.Bait. I'm trying to stay in the >$5550 limit. I checked out the 92 the day after they posted it on the fort collins section and it took all of 2secs to make up my mind on passing. It's a nice truck and Julie is very nice to speak w/, but they expect to get near that price. I MIGHT have moved on it if they dropped it $1k. I'm no body man, but I've never seen metal flake like that - it looked like bondo to me, but I'm no body man. They've owned it for 10yrs(?) and couldn't explain it. Nice people and overall it was in decent shape, but the weather's nice (I'm on my bike) and I don't want to buy into body damage if at all possible. Keep it coming...

thanks for all the help, but I've reached my month window of searching, so I'm just gonna casually search from now on - the weather's nice and I can bike.
