I was wondering when somebody would implement "Drive by wire" controls. They've used that in airplanes for a while, and the consequences are worse in airplanes if the electronics go bad :eek:

Yeah, but airplanes get reeeeeeally good maintenance as a result. Not so the family truckster.

Being able to "pass" the steering wheel and pedals to the person seated next to you would be really bizarre.

Next thing you know, instead of drive by wire, it'll be wireless...bluetooth steering and braking :-)

3 across seating should be interesting too. Maybe it's a throwback to a cruiser bench seat :eek:
