another oem kit saved...

I need to have Dean bring his to the next meeting so I can make a xerox copy of his Numbering Card. Seems to be the only thing missing.

The kit from my 1978 FJ45 is complete, but doesn't include a lock.

The later are not nearly as cool as the early ones. I have an original kit in my BJ too. :p

Any differences in a Canadian kit or US kit?

I really can't tell if the Cdn spec kit is different unless I could see what's in a complete 1978 USA spec kit. My 71 came with what appears to be a complete kit, and my 76 came with a partial.

The lock was not really a part of the tool kit. The lock went to secure the spare tire. Per john pardi there was one for the tool box lid too. That's the original lock that came with it from the dealer. I think for the tool box you had to produce your own lock. Technically I think the trouble light goes in the glove box and the OEM manual goes in a pocket in the tool kit.

I have the OEM 64 owners manual as well.

I don't think a 78 had a lock since it just went under the seat with the rubber strap to hold it down.

Rick D said he has a few repro cards left.. So hopefully he'll have one for me. :bowdown:
