You RC cars guys, thought you'd dig this. Paint it white and put a really tall guy behind the wheel, could be Dean-o.

I still have my Tamiya Bruiser form the 80s.

Mine isn't "stock" it is a beat-up driver (sounds like my IRL 4runner!). It has custom 3:1 "differential" (they are really just bevel gears) gears instead of the stock 2:1s. 1 piece alumimun wheels (hand made) couple of other "trick" parts too.

The stock unit has very little plastic. Mostly metal parts. It is pretty tough, but the stock "birfields" are the weak link, just like on the IRL trucks.

You can sit in an office chair and the bruiser can push the chair with you in it.

There are photos kickin' around of 10 Tamiya bruisers, each with it's own tow rope, flat towing a REAL Toyota Hilux.

That is a pretty nice one there. Custom wheels, shocks, bushbar, I spy a sway bar( ?!) too. custom skid plates, extra lights on the roll bar. NICE!

I had one of those I got in Japan back in 88. I sold it on ebay a year or so ago. The guy who bought it was totally jazzed. They're hard to find apparently.
