It started as a 5x10 trailer with a 3500 lb axle. I bobbed it, did a spring over for the lift, and removed 2 leafs from each spring pack. I also removed all the 2x10 boards and replaced them with plywood to really lighten up the unit.

Future mods include a lunette eye, bigger tires, shock mounts, and maybe longer leaf springs.

Now I can set up base camp, and wheel the light tow vehicle! My goal was to always have a built, lightweight 80.

Nice and simple, have you considered any sort of a "jackstands" or supports at the front to stabilize to it when the tent is open?

I have a similar trailer and have been contemplating doing something similar so thanks for posting up!
