Doesnt matter if its the new style or the older style, but also need the upper door frame part of it as well.

does not matter if painted, rusty, whatever, just need the front part as I am going to be attempting to make factory soft top bows...

Thanks, Max

Are you thinking about getting one of the OEM replicas they making over on the East coast?

Nope, found a Paki top from someone on mud, brand new, only $375 :D

But no bows :( I have read a few write ups on making your own, does not seem too hard...

Very Cool! Let me know if you want any pics of mine for reference. I believe there's a write up on building them from hard top sides somewhere on MUD.

I trashed my Pakistan top on the Pre-run, so I'll be running a Bikini top instead. :o

I heard a rumor that Dean might be there, and he bought my other top, so you might be able to shoot his too.

I ripped my old Kayline top in a Chicago parking garage. The rip was the full width of my FJ40. I took it to a shoe repair place, and they stitched it up so well it just looked like a seam that had always been there.

Thanks guys. I have some extra material from Ehsan too so I'm going to look into having it repaired. Not in a big hurry, so I'll probably take it in to an upholstery shop and see what they can do with it this winter while I have my hard top on. I would like to get some of the straps and buckles replaced too.

Max, is yours the newer style vinyl or canvas?

Newer style vinyl, It was made for a bj40, and should fit fine with normal bows, just a little bit tighter than normal.

If you need to crawl around and take some measurements you're more than welcome to come over anytime...

If the top was off the 40 you'd be welcome to borrow it for as long as needed but alas, the bugger still sits in place :(
