Our Corolla has the little light that comes on every oil change for maintenance required or something like that. I had a guy at the dealer once show me how to reset it, but I can't figure it out.
It was something with the turning the acc. switch on and off.
Anyone... do 80's or 100's do this? :thumb:

Is the light your describing your check engine light? If it is, and your corolla is OBDII equipped ('96 or later), I have a little unit we used to plug in and diagnose an issue we were having with the bronco. It basically plugs in, reads you a code, then turns the light off. I can bring it to the meeting wednesday for ya if you think you could use it.

On BMW's I know that you use the odometer reset button, hold it down then select the different matinence selections you want to reset.

Basically it is right, it is 5 ----- and it will count down, Start out 5 , then 4 then 3 Once it flashes the correct milage again, it is good for the next 5k miles.
