keeping the public on the route? education? re-establishing closures
of previous decisions?

Sorry I missed this before, but I will be attending.

Anything in particular anyone wants mentioned?

Jenny Creek stuff looks good. No comprehension on the post and cable fix. The FS would like drawings and whatnot to try and understand what we want to do. They feel that the solutions we provided will still fall over in that soft soil.

Carnage is closing on the 15th. Post and cable going in on the 17th, but they will be digging holes and putting up dirt piles and whatnot starting on the 15th.

The new route up above is on the ground and should be operational by end of october to november. There may also be 2 lines put in: A buggy line, and a modified truck line, meaning it may or may not be driveable to some with built full body trucks.

We'll see there.

The tentative name at this point for the new trail is "Black Widow".

Left Hand restoration grant phase 2 went through, and will be the last for the area. The resto is going well.

Bunce private land closure is being respected, and the new bunce maps are in the preliminary stages, with a few modifications yet to be made, but should be printed and up there in time for next season. They are quite good IMO. Should really help people understand the boundaries better.

Kingston peak has been serviced by the Hillbillies jeep club, and it was remarkably clean. A buck and rail fence is falling apart on Boulder Water Shed land, and will need to be fixed after a large mud pit is fixed first, since the fence is being used as a winch anchor for trucks stuck in the mud

If we can get some pictures drawn up of the various ideas for Jenny Creek, then I can take them to next months meeting and present it.

Thank you Isaac for both attending the meeting for us and the great report!!!! You are very appreciated! I haven't had a chance to call Cat. I will try to get some info as well as the actual tie downs together and attempt to have a face to face with her next week. I will stress the fact that this method is actually a minimal impact repair that can very easily be removed without trace if it fails.

Yeah they tend to strain at details when things are a lot easier than that. Thanks Isaac!! :thumb:
