Thought you might like a picture. Ever seen a RHD BJ-70 on it's side?
No one was hurt, not even Ross.

He's trying to sell it? Is it posted up anywhere?

Still curious to know what happened...

And yes, hope everyone is having a splendid time nonetheless! :thumb:

I had to leave a bit early, but we completed Black Bear on Saturday with a few incidents (tipped BJ-70, Doug Tebbe had a broken CVJ, James Cruiser 60 had 4WD problems and had to be towed up the steps and around a hair-pin).
Sunday dawned rainey but we drove back to Telluride, spent an hour in town then took on Imogene. Rain and fog kept many of the normal ATV/Bikers off the run but we still encountered some jeep groups. The day went well and we had no break-downs.
Here are a few pics.

The run was lead by Bruce Miller and Jethro was tail gunner. Safety and communication was priority one. Thanks to good leadership (Bruce and Jethro) and excellent help from all involved, it was a great weekend! Terry

Super fun day on Sunday, rode the gondola up the mountain, then wheeled in the rain. I was blown away at how beautiful Imogene pass was, will definitely be back. Thanks again everyone for the awesome time and great company.. :D

Even with the mishaps, this was by far a great trip!! We enjoyed ourselves and only wished we could have stayed longer.

Thanks for the pictures!!

How did this happen

He was trying to drive up onto that snowbank, either to get a wider shot at the turn, or just have a little fun and mash some snow. Turned out the snow didn't give, plus received more traction than expected on the right side, and in a flash the whole world went sideways.

At least he didn't go rolling off the mountainside! :whew:

Sorry, for bailing on you guys Saturday after Black Bear but I had other plans on Sunday in Utah and not running Imogene wasn't an option for me since I live 14 hrs. away.

I'll have some photo's up in awhile, as i just got back into Yuma.

Thanks everyone for the great trip. I was a little aprehensive after last years front diff dammage. Short days on trail and lots of Hot Springs soaking was really what I was after. Well, I got excatly what I wanted. Even my wife thought the length of time in the rig was perfect. I got my hands dirty learning about Tacoma c/v's. I also got to practice my Dutch Oven cooking skills. Learned a few things about cruisers and fridges, all around had a big smile on my face. Rain and clouds just made the scenery that much more impressive and never seemed to dampen anyone's spirits. It was fun hanging out and getting to know other members better and meet a few new folks. Next year we'll bring bikes, big wheels, and scooters.

Those pictures, especially the third, remind me a lot of Scotland. Looks like a fun time. All the more reason to get mine running...

My friend, Joe took 505 pictures in 2 days  I selected 164 and put them here:

Don't miss the shots of the potluck in the rain at the end.

Despite the rain, we had a great time. This was my third Labor Day weekend in Ouray. I expect to be back next year. Thanks a bunch to the Millers for another wonderful trip! :thumb:

Good to see that you made it back okay. Came a little close to going over that ledge.

What an awesome looking place. Looks like mostly some great scenery and trail riding. Is the whole trip you guys took doable in a stocker?

subzali

The whole thing is doable in your truck Carson :D

I even barely squeaked by with doing Poughkeepsie in my truck! 31s, rear locker.

Cool. I also bought a stock 62 this week...I was thinking about whether or not it could make it before the upgrades come!
