Of course you have to say that in the "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning" way :hill:

Drove the 40 today as the :Princess: has the whale because her 80 didn't want to start . The lights were home but the starter was out for breakfast I guess.

Anyway, as I've been sitting at my desk, I have been getting to enjoy the smells of driving a 40 to work over and over and over again :) :lmao:

I backed out this morning in a noxious cloud of choke-on, non-catalyst, cold-engine unburnt fuel. Yuummmmmmmmmmmmm.

My wife will comment later that I 'smell like a truck'. Probably should enjoy a stogie today, too, if I'm going to be labeled as such.

Tim,

You're welcome to come by anytime and take the 40 for a spin...The smell will linger with for the entire day :D

Mine's especially ripe with the crack in my exhaust just under the driverside door. If I sit and idle for more than 30 seconds, my head starts getting loopy....

Still - nothing like cruisin to work in the morning with the top off on a crisp fall-like morning.

You guys should try taking them on a trail sometime rather than just to work. :D :bolt:

Stacy can always tell when I have been in the cruiser she can smell the "40" on me... I think it is kinda nice... keeps the mosquitos away! :D

That's 'cuz you guys are green=environmentally friendly...I mean really, why burn gas and add to the whole global warming dilemma when you can just be pulled around by someone else? :thumb:

I have to say the smell of diesel is much better in the am. ;)

I still get my fix with the jetta Turbo diesel in the morning.

Funny thing is I don't need to start the 40 to get the smell. Maybe it's the vinyl that is still bleeding out in 40 years. Funny thing is all the old 40's have this smell. Newer ones(40's), not so much.
