Greetings! Just curious if anyone else here likes Wasabi coated peanuts? Alvaro got me hooked on them at Rubithon. I find most everyone I ask not only have not tried them but refuse to try them because Wasabi is apparently an evil substance. So......fess up....

Too hot for me. That is, wasabi peas. But I think that if you chew them then the flavor is good. If you suck on them, however, which is what I normally do with hard candies and such, then you will have a mouthful of burning glory :hill:

They're good, just not my favorite. Nothing against Wasabi though, wonder what that's about?

Peanuts are different than peas. I don't really care for the peas either. The peanuts come on like gangbusters but the heat dies out quickly leaving a pretty good after taste.

Your poll needs this option:

I have not tried them but would be willing to give them a shot.

Asian Food markets. Although Costco has started to carry the "Green Tea Wasabi Peanuts." Pretty good!

These are our favorites - Wasabi and Tamari almonds, tamari is a type of soy - and we get them at Vitamin Cottage. Flash of heat with a smooth finish.

Wasabi rocks!! If you go to a "good" Sushi bar where they make their own Wasbi you can get some real hot stuff, cleans the sinuses!!!

I like wasabi on my sushi, but I don't *think* I would like it on my peanuts.

Guess you could try to convert me at the Holy Cross run, UB!
