So im looking to put some fresh rubber (285/75/16) om my 80 and dont want to spend a fortune... Anyone have recommendations for good prices in denver or anywhere that gives R.S. discounts or anything? Thanks!

Discount Tire is usually pretty good...

Your best bet is to let your fingers do the walking, and call around to some places. If you know what brand and model you want, you may find someone who is willing to give you a great deal. I did this a few years back when I purchased my 33 x 10.50 Goodyear MT/R tires for my 40. I ended up buying them from a Jim Paris place that was willing to go $20 less per tire than Discount. At 5 tires, I save $100.

Good luck!

I just received my Terra Grapplers from Summit Racing. They priced matched Discount tire direct and shipping was about 1/2. So five 295/75r16 came out to about $750 to my door.

I've always had good luck with Summit Racing.

But I still have to get them mounted.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know Summit even sold tires.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know Summit even sold tires.

They've sold car tires for years, but truck tires are kind of new. Not a huge selection like 4WP but some of the more popular stuff. Biggest thing was shipping savings. It was less than $50 in shipping for five 33' tires. Most other online vendors were $100-$200 for shipping alone.

I have always gotten the best price from Tire Source in Boulder. Discount Tire will always match any competitors price, including Costco or Sam's Club (which have decent prices as well). I tend to call around find the best price I can then have Discount match it so I can have the convenience of their multiple locations for later.
