anybody run into antenna connections that look the same but aren't? i picked up a delphi from work majorly cheap, but neither the stock antenna connector nor the rubber ducky antenna connecter will plug in...they're both too big to fit? wtf? antenna connections have been teh same for decades! who's the dumas engineer that decided to change this crap:mad::rant:
can i just turn down the connector on my antenna to get them to fit the radio?

Delphy is XM satelite you would need a antenna module and a subscription

only if you subscribe to the crap services. very few of the volvos at work subscribe (like none of the denney trucks, none of the swift trucks, etc) and they run mostly delphi. ain't no way i'm paying for hundreds of channels of crap (kinda like cable tv) and the commercials that will soon follow.

Satellite radio stock, XM and Sirius, has been on the "sell" list for a couple of months now. Not that Wall Street is a good indicator of reality but the future doesn't look too bright for satellite radio.

I love my XM. $12 a month. Just like satalite TV. 100's of channels of total crap and a few I can't turn off.
Stocks? What does Wall street know about Gansta Rap? And who still listens to FM radio anyway?
I'm waiting for Russia, Iraq, Iran (choose your own) to shoot down all the satalites. Then I'll cancel my subsciption and listen to one of the four crappy radio stations we get in my neck of the woods. Sorry Ige no help with your antenna. I too agree that Delphi makes XM radio's and the XM antenna is differnt than a standard.

called our radio rep...the plug is actually an iso insert . that way the same radio can be sold in usa and europe. would by nice if it was mentioned in the literature somewhere. even my boss said it looked like the plug was one piece.
anybody got an audi/bmw/vw that they wanna put an aftermarket stereo in? if so, you'll need this adapter:D
