Anyone in or near the Denver area who will let me borrow a spare FJ40 wheel and tire to mock up on my 4Runner? I've got an '85 'Runner and I'm considering putting the stocker FJ40 rims on it. I'd just like to mock one up to check the backspacing and see if it will look as utilitarian and cool as I'm imagining. I'm looking for the factory solid steel rims, preferrably with a tire. Unfortunately I sold my 40 a little while ago. I'll even come to you with tools, try it on at your place, and the wheel will never leave your sight.

Thanks!

Adam

Thanks, but those aren't really what I'm looking for at all, and the point is for me to be able to mock one up with a tire without committing or buying.

I have four wheels with tires on them, you are welcome to use one for your checking. The best of the bunch is being used as the spare on my 40. I live on the south side and work near downtown.

I have both If you want to come out to the ranch. I don't know when I can guarantee a time though. I could leave the wheel outside to try on.

Yes, like those. I learned from someone today that some of the late-70s/ early-80s Toyota trucks came with the same rims, so I guess I'm open to that also. I'll PM Ricardo and see if we can work something out.

Thanks for the help!
