Damn, timing really is everything. Missed the meeting last week because of an after hours root canal which the doc wasn't able to finish that evening. Guess when I have to go back? Yup, tomorrow morning for two more hours of dental fun. Damn.

I too am wifeless starting tomorrow afternoon, but unfortunately in this case I've got the two kiddos to manage. Do you have a padded room I could lock them in for a few hours? :hill:

You guys missed out. We had a BLAST!!!

We got up to the open area at the top, and it took us 2.5 hours to bust through the drifts to get out. Then more drift busting on the way down. Was it hard? UB burned a half tank of gas, and most of that was from the drifts....LOL

What did Isaac learn?

1. His All Terrains need to be retired for some decent mud Terrains.
2. UB is smart, and lets the other guy lead when there is an offcamber section with a drop off ahead. :D
3. Superchargers are cool. Really cool.
4. When the snow is up to your window, you may have to climb out of the passenger side of the truck. When doing this, do not sit on one of your t-case levers. :o
5. I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night, and I work all day!

We stopped takin' pictures after that! The drift where we put the winch anchor was a piece of cake! Once we hit Bills "wind free perfect camping spot" the tops of the posts disappeared! We worked/winched our tails off to make the next corner of the road! After we thought we were home free because we were back on Rollings pass road we discovered the narrow gaps were drifted in so we buddy strapped each other until we finally got low enough that we could travel free again....Great Friday! Thank you Isaac! :thumb::thumb:

....last pick is the last post above the snow for a while!....

The entire Jenny Creek Trail was snowy. Trail head is right at about 10k' We started encountering bigger drifts about 1/2 way in so about 10.4k and the big drifts were close to Yankee Doodle Lake which is 10.8k. It was snowing hard at the top while we were there and the winds were cranking! I'm gussing most of our tracks are already gone!

We 'started' seeing white stuff coming into Ned, at about 8k. But nothing worth mentioning until the trailhead.

Wow! How are the BFG's UB? And it looks like Isaac chained up?

What do you guys forecast this winter to be like? Is it going to be so deep that we can't get through on the Snow/Pizza run again?

Thanks guys. Think I'll TiVo the games and see what it looks like around Coney Flats. I brined and did a good rub and grilled up a couple chickens tonight and chopped 'em up. Think we'll take some hot chocolate and have a little picnic.

I definitely chained up. I couldn't get up the hills towards the top. I had to have both lockers on, and it wanted to walk sideways on the off camber. UB had to pass me, and break trail again.

I doubt people are going through there after last night. It was drifting so bad, and snowing really hard. I bet our tracks are all but gone.
