Looking for 15x7 or 15x8 wheels for my 84-FJ60. Have a set of new 31x10.5's MT/R's that were acquired for a good price, now I need to put them on Old Grateful.

I don't have any wheels for you, but your username reminds me of Trusty, the bloodhound from Lady And The Tramp (Disney movie):
Trusty: As my grandpappy, Old Reliable, used to say... I don't recollect if I've ever mentioned Old Reliable before?

Puppies: No you haven't, Uncle Trusty.

Trusty: Huh? I haven't? Well, um... as Old Reliable used to say, he'd say, uh... He'd say, uh... uh... Doggone. You know, I clean forgot what it was he used to say.

My kids love this movie as much as I did when I was a kid.

Kinda looks like my Redbone Coonhound. The original Grateful Dead Sticker still resides on the 60.

Are you looking for stock chromes?

I have the original chromes. I am looking for a wider rim, 7 or 8-inch. Originally looking at some basic black Rock Crawlers, but will consider any options for the right price.

I've got a set of 4 that are in good shape, will measure tonight how wide they are. They would easily support 31x10.5 tires though.

fyi, the stock rims will hold a 10.5 tire just fine. i ran 33x10.5s on stockers on my 60

Ige, who mounted them for you. I'm getting push back since GY specs call for 7-9 inch rims, not the stock 6-inch.

I had 31x10.5's on my FJ-62 also when I got it on the stock wheels. No issues to speak of!

would've either been discount or 4wpw, but can't remember which.

x3 I had 32x10.50's mounted on my stock rims, They fit fine.

I had them mounted in Tn. though. I think the guy was drinking a beer while he did it.

Ok I measured the ones I've got and they are 8" wide, measured outside to outside. The battery was dead in the camera but it's charged now, can get a picture up tonight.

But that's BS they won't mount those little 31's on the chrome rims, here's a picture of 33 x 10.50's on stock chromes...

Well, A big thanks to all you Cruiser Heads. I went to my local Big-O (I know the owner) and got the 31x10.5's mounted on the stock chromies, donated the ugly aluminum wheels that came with the tires (he collects them, salvages them and donates to the high school) and paid zip for the mounting!

It's a beautiful day in the mountains. Now its time to give the old girl a little lift. I'll check all the threads in that arena. Thanks again!
