Slee has them for 12 bucks each, might be chaper on shipping, or you pickem up.

Just got a pair of 60 series Marlin super seals and shipping was "only" $10. ??

I went to checkout online and it said $20.00????

I looked at cruiseroutfitters.com and they have them also. I need the whole shebang, seals, wheel bearings, trunions, EVERYTHING....

BTW where the heck do I find valvoline palladium?

i tried to order more than one item and it won't do it. i got the same $20 shipping charge also:(

i really like marlin, but having tried reaching someone by phone numerous times in the past and now the high shipping charge and shopping cart that doesn't work means i probably won't try purchasing from him again.

$20. is way to much.
why do companies charge so much for their shipping.

we just sent 320 pounds of steel to colo. springs by truck line and it was only $86.00

i can ship 10 pounds of steel across the U.S. fedex and pay only $8-$12.

these companies are ripping people off on shipping.......... over

NAPA is the only place I have found it

Is this the super duper Valvoline moly-di replacement or sumthin'?

I'd stick with Marlin. He keeps getting the short end of the stick, he focuses on making trannies work right etc. and relies on others for the business/technology end. Probably not a great strategy, but if I had to choose... and Marlin does SO much for our hobby and for the whole 4x4 world.

That said, if Slee's got 'em... get 'em. Just don't give up on Marlin.

I would appear that the Marlin Super Seals aren't available for 80 series axles and that he sells OEM for 80s. If that is the case then, for sure, get them from Christo or someone else locally!

It is the Marlin Super seal that Slee sells.

Maybe the shipping is higher using a shopping cart system, to avoid charging too little?

Whether or not Marlin does this practice, I see places overcharging way too much in this industry, especially MAF. My shop or our distributors in the bike biz could never get away with it, too competitive. I could never see myself marking up shipping, either. I may add 5 bucks if I have to take it to the terminal, but I will be up front about it. I don't see the justification, either, calling it handling. Companies claim it cost money for materials and labor to send product. They just need to add it to the cost of the product, instead.

I just ordered from Marlin a couple weeks ago. If someone just needs a couple heavy duty 40>60 front axle seals I can sell you a couple as I got 10 in my order. I don't need anything else from Marlin for a while or I would go in on another order to split up some shipping. Red Chili knows the score....do not give up on Marlin or you might not have that choice in the future!

This is not really helpful for your current need but...

Go to a TLCA event next year, and you can buy the seals from Marlin in person. Heck, he might just give them to you! :)

So Christo, then Marlin does have a super seal, like the 60 series seals he sells, for the 80 series and it just isn't advertised on his website yet?

Well I was a dumbass and did not get down to Slee before the Holidays.... and I made a trip down Saturday and Sunday to get a new washer/dryer (both did not fit in FJ)

Broke everything down Saturday night. WHAT A FRIGGIN MESS... Romer's DIY is the bomb. Gonna call Slee Monday AM and get everything mailed up to the mountains.

BTW No drift needed... just some taps with soft impact extension that I have.

Passenger side was goopier than driver's. Passenger was clicking... Driver's still had good wheelbearing grease...
