We cooked a 9lb spiral ham last night. So, I've now got 8lbs of left over ham. It'll be ham sandwiches for a while. I usually make a ham bean soup, but I've still got some left in the freezer from last year. I've got a crock pot.

Anyone got any good left over ham recipies? or Ideas?

I always cut it up into cubes and put it freezer bags in portions. Keeps for a while and makes it easy to use latter.:thumb:

I'm a purist - sour dough bread, sharp cheddar cheese, tomatoes and mayo. I could eat that for lunch for about a month before I got tired of it. Gonna have some today :)

Definitely pea soup. Toss in the ham chunks and the bone and let it simmer. Then into a bowl with a few dashes of Tabasco and a piece of bread (ideally sourdough). Yum!

Two thumbs up for the split pea ham soup. Dinner last night and lunch today. It was Hamtastic.
