Kinda surprised, kinda not. Bowlen must have had someone in mind. Who are they going to get that is better :confuse2: IMHO the head coach prospects ain't that great.

Maybe the new coach won't fake tan :lmao:

I couldn't belive it when I heard it. His defensive draft picks and aquisitions stunk, but his 2008 Offensive draft picks were pretty good; Eddie Royal, Clady (Left Tackle), Hillis

There's a lot of teams in the league who would love to have his record over the last 15 years, the problem is that they haven't done anything recently, and it's starting to look like Elway and TD were really that good, maybe they were better than Shanahan was smart.

I'm not really surprised, although I did think he would get one more year. Would love to see Cowher - can't think of anybody else in the league who I think is on par or above Shanahan. If you're going to do it, good for Bowlen to do it now, let the new guy build his own regime from day one.

Maybe Kubiak wants to come back????

Uggh...I hope not. I would like to see Cowher. I always liked him.

The Air Force-beat writer at the Gazette thinks they might look at Troy Calhoun since he has some history with the Broncos.

Cowher pulled out of the Jets interview tonight after the Shanahan story broke, huh? Cowher would kick the defense in the a$$ and let the offense to someone else, would be my choice for coach.
