Figure I may as well see if anyone can help me here. I just got let go this morning, and need to find anything to keep a roof over my head.

I'm a video editor and/or cameraman with plenty of previous experience in retail. Not many other skills.

Let me know if you know of anything.

You can call Brian Malone at Malone TV (http://www.malonetv.com/). Tell him you were sent by Matt Farr from WildBlue. He's a good guy. Don't know if he needs anybody or knows of anything, but it might be worth a shot.

Thanks. That's going on my list.

If you need a temporary job to earn some cash while looking, here's an interesting lead:
We are hiring more than 45 employees to fill positions in our new REI Westminster store!
Here's the ad (http://www.rei.com/email/member/mm010909_westminster.html).
Might be worth a look if you need something now. Just think of the discounts on gear! :D

That may end up being a bit up there for me to commute. I've got a meeting with a creative temp agency tomorrow, so I'm hoping that'll pan out. I spent the weekend thinking about the situation, and I think I'm going to take this as an opportunity to move out of Denver. I love CO, but have never really been happy in Denver, and this is the only place with any real jobs in my field.

"The "island caretaker" would be expected to stroll the white sands, soak up the sun, snorkel the reef, "maybe clean the pool" and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates.
The winner, who will stay rent-free in a multimillion-dollar three-bedroom beach home complete with pool and golf cart, must be an excellent communicator and be able to speak and write in English.

The job, according to the Daily Telegraph (http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/money/story/0,26860,24908934-5015795,00.html), seems too good to be true work 12 hours a month for six months while carrying out such duties as feeding turtles, watching whales and writing a blog."
