Go here (http://www.radioqth.net/cwweight.aspx)
for a calculator that will determine the "weight" of your callsign. The higher your number, the longer it will take to send your callsign on morse code. Kind of cool.

This is a useful tool when trying to figure out how long it will take to send a call sign using CW (Morse Code). The greater the weight of the call the longer it will take to send it. You can enter multiple call signs separated by spaces or new lines and the call sign weight analyzer will return them sorted by the lightest weight (or quickest to send) call sign first.

Based on who has posted so far, the list, sorted by the lightest weight (or quickest to send) call sign first is this:

Call Sign Weight
W0IIN 54
W0DW 56
K0VRT 62
K0UBN 64
W0RDY 70
KD0GEG 72
KC0ZAB 82

Based on this, SharkBait would have the most time consuming callsign to send using a standard word per minute sending speed (meaning everyone sending at, say, 20 WPM). I would have the fastest, followed by Bruce. In CW contesting, it is always better to be short with transmissions. That, incidentally, shows that the shortest callsign isn't always the best...

That is what he did. I did that with Ige last night and she ranked at a 90. I did the entire list as of last night and to my surprise I was lowest (easiest to send) from all the current RS HAM folks.

Oh well, I still rank #1 with a 54...:woot:
